Sorrow is better than laughter,
because a sad face is good for the heart.
The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning,
but the heart of fools is in the house of pleasure.
Ecclesiastes 7:3-4 (NIV)

I have been sitting here, typing and back spacing, trying to put into words all that I’m feeling. Indescribable rage. Uncontrollable sadness. Frustration. You name it, I’m probably feeling it. Tonight I watched The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas.

I equate this movie with The Passion of the Christ. We are well aware of the horrible things that happened in Auschwitz, and other concetration camps. We’ve read the History books, but seeing it on the big screen… it’s too much. Watch the clip for yourself. </3

And as for people like Helen Thomas, I’d like to put her in a concentration camp.

But he who has been forgiven little loves little. - Luke 7:47”

-
yo Bible, bust it out. ;)

I am so grateful for everything He has done for me. God is a-maze-ing.

Maybe it’s just me, but where did all the good Christian...

Maybe it’s just me, but where did all the good Christian music go?

Whenever I flip on WGTS 91.9 (the local Christian station in MD) it’s playing the same old gospel, slow, mundane songs. I want the upbeat. I want the catchy. I want music that doesn’t put me to sleep or have me changing the channel.

I remember days when I owned cds by bands like Relient K and The OC Supertones… what happened? Bring back the music! If you’re in the same boat as me, check out the following website: The Bored-Again Christian.

My savior. The one who loves me unconditionally and puts up with all my cr@p.

(which I have a lot of, I might add)

Come on, let’s go back to GOD.
He hurt us, but he’ll heal us.
He hit us hard,
but he’ll put us right again.
In a couple days we’ll feel better.
By the third day he’ll have made us brand-new,
Alive and on our feet,
fit to face him.
We’re ready to study GOD,
eager for God-knowledge.
As sure as dawn breaks,
so sure is his daily arrival.
He comes as rain comes,
as spring rain refreshing the ground.
Hosea 6:1-3 (MSG)

My heart is full and overflowing. :)
