I listen to music.
I take pictures.
I enjoy being crafty.
This blog combines the three.

I also ♥ . . . loom knitting. indie rock music. doctor who. harry potter. baking & cooking. traveling. road trips. the beach. laughing.

I am currently reading: The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets Nest on my kindle. :)

Melted Crayon Art

I opted to use my dad’s heat gun (instead of a hair dryer) to melt the crayons - mainly because I had no desire to sit on the floor for an hour to make one canvas. The crayons started melting within seconds with the heat gun. A-maz-ing.

Of course, this is a lot of fun so naturally I got a bit carried away and made more… a lot more. :)

My first scarf is now approximately 38” long. No where near being finished yet, of course, but it’s getting there. A trip to Michaels tomorrow is required so I can get another skein of this yarn. I think I’m going to tackle fringe for the ends since I’ve been making pom poms for all my hats thus far.

She & Him Christmas music + loom knitting =♥

I finally sat down and figured out how to use my rectangle long loom to make a scarf. :) It’s not too shabby for my first, at least so far.
